Steps to Prepare Florida Single Family Residential Lease Agreement
Fill out the lease agreement in its entirety by providing the following information.
- Name, email address, and phone number of the landlord
- Name, email address, and phone number of the tenant
- Address of the property, list of appliances as well as furniture on the premises provided by the landlord, and names of proposed occupants in article 2
- Date of commencement and termination of the lease in article 3
- Rent particulars, payment summary, and selection of choices in article 4
- Particulars of total payment due along with name and address of the person for remitting the payment in article 5
- Late fee amount and number of days for delayed payment in article 6
- Permission for smoking, keeping pets on the premises and information about the pets in article 7
- Name and address of landlord or landlord’s agent for sending notices in article 8
- Name of utilities provided by the landlord in article 9
- Selection of maintenance responsibility along with name and address of the person for reporting maintenance necessity in article 10
- Selection of option to grant assignment in article 11
- Particulars of keys and door openers in article 12
- Selection of choices and acknowledgement about lead warning statement along with signatures in certificate of accuracy in article 13
- Selection of payment responsibility of association fee and deposit in article 16
- Selection of permission pertaining to the use of the premises in article 17
- Information about the broker and selection of brokerage payment responsibility in article 28
- Tenant’s signature in article 29
- Date and signatures by landlord and tenant/s
- Information about the Preparer
